In April of 2022, our intensive won a Social Impact Award for outstanding CSR and DEI initiatives, in the “mentoring program and organizational mission” category. The Social Impact Awards honor “communicators who use their platforms to better their community and the global community at large. Training intensive graduate work samples
When Eve started the intensive, she had the idea for her show and some rough interviews done. We workshopped her first episode script and trailer, but she did all the production herself — and now Deer Humans is an International Women’s Podcast Award winner!
Melissa’s thoughtful writing and inviting voiceover had already earned a Golden Crane honorable mention for Shelter in Place episode “Hyphenated Identity,” but Tired in My Twenties shows her skills producing an indie podcast all on her own.
